Only about month ago, I was strolling Promenade des Anglais with my family and enjoying the sights and sounds of Nice.  The town has an essence of calmness as the nearby ocean sings it's heart in waves.  Today, someone sought to take that preserved memory I have of such a beautiful town and destroy it with their ugliness and hate for human kind.  As with any race, we have our human race since the beginning of civilization 6000 years ago, there is no trophy at the end of this one.  No "god" will reward you with any afterlife for being selfish and certainly won't tip the scales in your favor of reaching anything but a lonely end.

As with all the troubles of these times, pray for Orlando, pray for Istanbul, pray for France, pray for the world, pray for tolerance to endure these times that we have to put up with.  I'm not down and out yet.  Get out there and stand together for your fellow brother and sister.  My condolences to the families and those related to Nice's tragic events.
